Book Exhibition at the Pakistan House at Berlin, Germany


On Tuesday, 16th April 2024, GPCCI co-hosted the book exhibition for “Landmarks of Pakistan – Drawings by Ute Elpers” at Pakistan House in Berlin with the support of H.E. Saqlain Syedah, Ambassador of Pakistan to Germany. Ambassador Shahid Kamal graced the occasion as Guest of Honor.
This memorable event was to honor the memory of the late German artist Ms. Ute Elpers, renowned for her exceptional contributions to art and humanitarian efforts. The meticulously compiled coffee-table book features Elpers’ pen and ink drawings of Pakistan’s most iconic landmarks. The exhibition marked a significant milestone in cultural exchange, fostering stronger ties, and building bridges between Germany and Pakistan. It provided a platform for the international diplomatic community to admire Ms. Elpers’ remarkable talent, generosity, and profound affection for Pakistan. Attendees reflected on her impact as an artist and benefactor.
